Dabei sind ihm im klassischen Sinne Rhythmus, Harmonie und Melodie, anders als bei mach anderen zeitgenössischen Komponisten, die drei Hauptsäulen des musikalischen Schaffens. So benutzt er klassische Formen, verändert sie, behandelt sie freier und füllt sie mit neuen, musikalischen Inhalten.
Music is fiery nourishment and, at the same time, soothing for the soul; it is a place of integrity. This idea lies at the core of Studtrucker`s intention to compose.
In a classical sense rhythm, harmony and melody are the three main pillars of his creative musical work. This sets him apart from most other contemporary composers. He uses classical forms, but also changes them, works with them freely and fills them with new musical content.
